National Lay Bible Workers Convention

One of the most effective ways to reach people is to use a simple one on one approach offered in visitation and Bible Study. The National Lay Bible Workers Convention will offer every member essential skills and training on how to be effective in leading people to Christ. The convention will cover issues from the first contact with a non-Adventist to developing that person so that he or she will become an active member of the Church. This training will furnish you with some essential skills in leading people to Christ.

The National Lay Bible workers Convention has become a formative event for passionate committed Christians in our church who want to be seriously engaged in Bible Studies. The presenters this year are Dr Roy Adams, Pr Louis Torres, Mrs Carol Torres, a number of BUC/Conference departmental Directors and field Pastors.  Sis Torres will be the first female main speaker that we will have. Through a series of dynamic presentations, transforming plenary sessions and challenging seminars you will be inspired, challenged and refocused to minister through Bible study.

The BUC has subsidised this programme to ensure that it is affordable for all to attend.  Please contact your local Conference/Mission and church for other funding sources.  I am convinced that those who attended the previous courses have been richly blessed and challenged to do something for the Master.  I am therefore asking that each church send a minimum of three persons to receive a further discount of £10.00 per person (up to a maximum of five people) and financially assist-interested members to attend.
