How can this be done? Churches should meet and agree the most appropriate method of sharing faith in their local context. One suggestion is to have a shortened service on Sabbath and to spend a couple of hours in the community with individuals, sharing the gospel and giving away at a pieces of literature. We are hoping that each member would distribute 5 pieces of literature. Then return to church to share their experiences pray, testify and reflect over a meal.
Each church is free to implement the plan according to their local needs and what they feel impressed by the Holy Spirit of God to do. We ask that the local Churches use the resources that are readily available from Conference or Mission; or even the things that are in the cupboards in the local Church.
Please prayerfully commit your time, talent, personal effort and influence into the hand of God to work in a distinctive, exponential manner as we seek to touch the lives of others. Sabbath 17th September 2011 could be used as a day of prayer for the forth coming week.
